Face color dosn't change when changing skin color

Aló 👋

First of all, Im using Fusion Girl with Kziitd's body and face texture (the face is 1k and I also use 1k textures)

 

So, NPC-s look like this:

Clearly can see the mitchmass, even with the matching textures

 

If I try to change the Skin Tone, the body changes, but the face stays the same:

And finally, If I equip any Overlay skin override (in the body menu, when you press Q) then unequip it, the face changes to the body's color:

I dont know if its an engine bug, or something went wrong at my end.

I also tried disableing almost all the mods, but didn't solve the problem.

Can someone help me please? 🙏

You could ask in the support thread, you'd probably get more help there.

I think the issue is that whatever that face paint is, it isn't 1K and causes the discoloured face. The resolution of any makeup/face paints etc has to match the resolution of the face textures.

I doubt a little that the reason may be different texture resolutions. I don't see the brown face bug. The eyebrows don't seem to have disappeared at all, but these stripes under the eyes... perhaps these are just incorrectly placed textures or an error in their names. Just like the idea of a broken texture of the color palette is also unlikely.

 

1) Try reinstalling the textures folder from "looks menu customization compendium". 

 

2) If this doesn't help, then please leave me a link to the body and face textures you mentioned. I'll try to check them.

(Of course, I can find everything myself, but then it will drag on until late in the evening. There is a lot of work today).

 

added: After reading your next post, I'll add that the error is most likely texture related, and so by disabling plugins you are unlikely to find the culprit.

I tried the first step, but it did't worked

Also I tried 2 things:

First, I installed CBBE for testing, and there was no mismatch between the body and the head (like in the first image), but changing body color also didn't changed the head's color.

Then I downloaded fallout on my laptop, with the folowing mods: ZaZ Skeleton, Fusion Girl, looksmenu (not LMCC) and the mention skin:

The head and the body are from the same creator and same page, so I thought it's gonna match

But on my laptop the same issue came

I should have been more specific, ask in the Fusion girl's non realistic skin support thread.

If the head doesn't change colour even with cbbe, you may have missed a step somewhere. Though without knowing what mod you are using to change the colour it is hard to offer a solution.

 

Given the third image in your initial post, the textures from Fusion girl's non realistic skin do work together, as long as you don't equip any face paints/makeup or use ones that match your face textures resolution.

I already started a conv in the fusion girl's support page, I don't want to start a 3rd

 

Btw I change the color via Lookmenu, when you press F (face), then pressing C, to change color

the problem is they spawn like this, and these are (most likely) default facepaint because as mentiont on laptop I didn't downloaded any extra mods, and the same issues happen

 

 

I also want to mention here, that if I try to change the face preset, not the looksmenu one (with R, the mooded ones), but the default one with A or D, then leaving the editor, the body's color changes to the face's color. (Not like originally where the face color changed to the body color)

You might need to at this point, I've not used the body replacer you are, but the one I'm using (which is 2K and comes with 2K makeup and face paint replacer) never had these issues, and I'm kind of running out of suggestions. Maybe they can recommend a 1k makeup and face paint replacer, seeing as the one you are using doesn't come with one (yes, I downloaded it to check.)

 

While I was in game, I went and changed my character's skin to red and both the head and body changed. So, I still think you've missed a step somewhere.
