New Skin occasionally Reverting to months old deleted skin mod

So figured id take a shot in the dark here as google doesnt have an answer.  Months ago i had fair skin and deleted it after i wanted to try a new skin, im now using demoniac yet somehow every once in a while (a lot recently) its reverting back to the fair skin that was deleted.  the only way to fix it is to constantly replace/reinstall the new skin mod when i notice the issue.  Im not going into racemenu in game as it does it even when i havent launched the game, im thinking its on possible mod deployment from vortex.  Ive provided pics bad is the matte one and good is the shiny, but i for whatever reason cant find the culprit of what is causing it to revert nor the files its drawing from to revert to.  3ba body btw.  any help would be appreciated.
