RDKateran Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 So after finally getting fed up with Skyrim crashing entirely when trying to load any save, I went and turned pretty much everything off and turned only the sex mods on with a few others to test them with (SkyUI, follower Cerwiden, unofficial patches, brawl bug fix, autosave manager, and the UFO framework). Now my problem is that any sex animation is causing a CTD. The baffling part is that it should all be working. I'm using the latest Sexlab, I've updated FNIS to 4.0.2, I'm only using an unmodded save file, and I'm only using sex mods I know that are properly updated to use or have been confirmed by others to work with the latest Sexlab framework. Yet still, I get a CTD when any animation plays--if I use MatchMaker and the effects of the spell wears off, it crashes. If I pimp Cerwiden out, it crashes. If I proposition a character and proceed to the animation, it fucking crashes! bleagh Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Do you have any custom skeletons or body meshes installed? If you do or do not, make sure you don't have any of the patches checked in FNIS that you don't need. Have you tried this mod load order on a new game? Also you have the unofficial high res patch, but are you running the high res dlc?
RDKateran Posted October 30, 2013 Author Posted October 30, 2013 I'm using BBP and some custom walk animations (360 degree walk) and have the appropriate patches on FNIS checked for them. The save file I'm using is of one that has NOT had any mods whatsoever installed on them, and I've also used a test character by warping directly to qasmoke from the start menu. I have the high res DLC downloaded, but as a viable work around I've configured the .ini to load the BSA files for them rather than using the plugins, which still work with the unofficial patch for it, which doesn't even list those as an actual master requirement (and thus won't crash the game for them not being turned on). Previous attempts at using this configuration has worked in the past.
TheDriedFinger Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 To speak about my own mod, TDF Aggressive Prostitution, is it crashing when you ask her to work for you or when you offer her services to a client (and the animation attempts to initiate)?

There were times (like when I forgot to have SkyUI checked on, thus blacklisting all the animations) where I'd offer her services and nothing would happen, but neither would it crash.
TheDriedFinger Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Try installing the FNIS Spells Optional File and see if activating those animations. If they don't crash your game, then the issue has been isolated to SexLab Framework, though I'm not sure what would be the specific problem, since everything else you have would seem to be compatible.
RDKateran Posted October 30, 2013 Author Posted October 30, 2013 I'll try that, but if it helps, I've used your mod to make an NPC dance, and it did so without issue or crash, so I'm pretty sure it's limited to SexLab. You DID say that you only strung together 4 animations from FNIS for that, didn't you?
TheDriedFinger Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Huh, yeah, that's right. So I wonder what possibly could have occurred to make SexLab malfunction. A faulty installation, perhaps? It doesn't seem to be any incompatibility that I can notice, though I'm by no means claiming to be an expert there. As a side note: have you considered switching from UFO to AFT? As I understand UFO is terribly outdated.
RDKateran Posted October 30, 2013 Author Posted October 30, 2013 AFT is completely incompatible with Cerwiden until Cerwiden gets its next update, which may be never. Still, have had the same crashes when UFO wasn't included. I encountered no errors when installing SexLab with NMM, and I've otherwise never had issue installing them with NMM.
TheDriedFinger Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Oops, I forgot; I haven't used Cerwiden in too long. Regarding the installation of SexLab, have you checked your Papyrus logs? Maybe, there's something in there.

I tried to attach my logs in my initial post, but the site said I'm not allowed to attach that kind of file, annoyingly enough. Speaking of that, Aggressive Prostitution does seem to conflict a bit with Cerwiden's dialogue options, as if blocking her "I need to talk to you" dialogue. The other sex mods I have installed work fine with her, so I'm lead to believe that the conflict is between those two.

hryh23k9823u Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 What skeleton are you using concretely? Also, you have to put the log here, using the 'code' and 'spoiler' function preferabily, not attaching the file itself.
