What makes Garm special? Irrisisibly attractive spell fizzles on him only

On literally anything else I point at: people, animals, rocks, houses, the sky, my infinite sense of wonder - I can have sex with it. But not Garm Jr no armor. He is extradimensional. Why?

 

Error is "Your spell fizzles on Garm" or something like that.

Also fails for meeko. Seems animal followers are a bust

Looking at the code for v9 (20210927), the callstack for actor validation looks like this:

1. sslMatchMakerMagicEffect.OnEffectStart
2. sslMatchMaker.RegisterActor
3. SexLabFramework.IsValidActor
4. sslActorLibrary.IsValidActor
5. sslActorLibrary.ValidateActor

ValidateActor will log the reason why an actor was not valid, into the papyrus log.
