SlutPrincessMia Posted December 22, 2023 Posted December 22, 2023 Hey People i just recently got myself the Sims 3 finally for the PC and got a ~huge question~ "Where should i start" ? im kinda lost... I found this Steam Guide which helps to Fix and Adjust the Game for Modern Computers , but would these Fixes conflict with the Naughty Mods ? :< I do like to see my Pixelated Chars to do the lewd dance afteral :3 . And if its not conflicting which of the Guides in the Technical Support should i follow ? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1131162350
FreakyRufus Posted December 22, 2023 Posted December 22, 2023 Those specific fixes in the section "Store Content Bug Fixes" should not conflict with mods like Kinky World or Passion. I am not clear on what question you are asking. Are you having conflicts, and trying to debug what is happening? Or, do you just not know where to get started with choosing, installing, and configuring a mod for adult gameplay?

Uhm my Question was most likely weirdly stated given it was late and i was tired >.<. Sooooo Basically i wanted to know if i use this Fix Guide from Steam with its recommended Mods , and then install on top of it either Kinky World or Passion if that would cause conflicts and crashes for my Game. I think finding out if Kinky World or Passion fits more my taste is something i can readily read up in the Mods Page easily afteral ? 1

I would not expect anything in that Steam guide to conflict with KW or Passion, with the exception of: Nraas - Nraas has some conflicts with Kinky World, which are documented on the first post of the Kinky World thread. I use almost all of the NRaas mods, except for Sleep Freedom and Shooless, which both conflict with KW. Also, if you want to use Overwatch, you need to pay attention to the settings mentioned in the KW thread, and if you want to use ErrorTrap, you need to use the tuning file attached to the KW thread. Nraas Story Progression works with KW, sort of. KW has its own story progression routines, but they only impact KW specific things. With both of them running at the same time, it can possibly cause lag in your game. Additionally, on the NRaas forums, they have specifically mentioned that KW and Nraas try to manage the some of the same things, and KW can end up corrupting those items. That said, I use both, and lots of other folks on LoversLab use both. Nraas Register - there are supposedly some conflicts between this and KW. I use both, but some people have reported issues. Personally, I got tired of going to stores like the consignment shop or the elixir shop and not finding anyone working there, so I do use the Register mod. Simler90's Game Play - this seems to have a lot of conflicts with NRaas mods. There seems to be some tuning overrides on the Steam thread that address those issues, but I haven't tried them so can't say how well they work. For limiting FPS, I use Riva Tuner Statistic Server. The LazyDuchess mods are supposed to be able to limit FPS, but I never got it working on my system, and quickly gave up. Using NVidia (or any other graphics software) to limit the FPS of the game to the refresh rate of your monitor doesn't help too much if you have a high refresh rate, like is becoming more and more common. My monitor is 240Hz, so that would limit The Sims 3 to 240 FPS on my system. I don't think it could actually reach that, but even if it did, that is way too high, and is way higher than the game can actually create new frames. I use Riva Tuner to limit the game to 60 FPS. None of the NRaas Stuff should conflict with Passion, since it doesn't really add any Story Progression stuff, or really do anything beyond add sexy animations and actions to sims. None of the stuff about fixes should conflict with KW or Passion.
SlutPrincessMia Posted December 23, 2023 Author Posted December 23, 2023 Allrighty thanks. So far the Game runs perfectly fine. Only went so far to make the Perfomance Fixes and so on . Now time to read up if i go for Passion or KW. Knowing me i will most likely decide for the easier one i suppose xD .
