Seeking - Definitive Animation Creation Guide?

Anyone have guides and/or tutorials (fairly recent preferred) on creating animations for SL? Information on rigs that other users have made, animation tools and software, and general information on creating animations (pipeline, start to finish steps, etc) would be super helpful.
