Geist Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I've recently encountered an issue with my Skyrim game, where select NPCs, mainly Dragons and Draugr, freeze up and do not move. They still react to me being nearby, but they don't move or doing anything, basically stading with their arms stretched out, frozen solid. YES, I have run the FNIS Generator. NO, I don't know what the cause is. NO, humaniod NPCs and animals aren't affected, they move about like they should. The only creatures I have see affected are dragons and draugr, no other NPC.
Krow24 Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 having the same issue been up all night trying to gigure it out
Geist Posted October 27, 2013 Author Posted October 27, 2013 I managed to find what the problem was, it turns out that there were some left over animation files in the meshes/actor folder for dragons, draugr and a few other creatures. After I removed them, they started acting normal again.

I deleted all animations for Draugr and Dragon and reinstalled the files from SexLab but still having the same issue. Thanks in advance.
ThatGuyJonus Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Generally fnis will only work for animations for male/female folders, if you have animations for creatures (draugr, dragons, wolves, etc.) you need to get the fnis creature addon.

The files should be in meshes/actors/character directory, they should be fully visible, if they're not there then the problem is somewhere else.
ChuckTH3 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 I'm having the same problem with many of the creatures. Dragons, wolves, bears, drauger, many of the creatures from Skyrim Immersive Creatures, which I've updated to the latest. I also have Automatic Variants, I've rerun the patch. I've recompiled the Bash patch, I have FNIS Creatures and I've run the app. One thing, it appears that the creatures larger than skeevers are frozen. Flying creatures, (with the aforementioned exception of dragons), do not seem to be affected.
