LustyWolf0721 Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 Hi. Just in case anyone need this information. After reading the crash log generated by Trainwreck ( Fudgyduff, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/106440), I found that the main reason behind the crash on loading saves or on the main screen is that True HUDhttps://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/62775 and Console Utilityhttps://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/24858 they are both outdated and need to be either disabled or uninstalled untill they update to the new version. Also you need to change some of the lines in the engine fixes toml file (please go to its nexus page for details). Well in my case, after I have done the above two steps I am able to play skyrim ae newest version without issues.  However, there could be some other mods that might still causing crashes. If you look into the crash log of Trainwreck, under the section [Probable Call Stack], any mod named other than SkyrimSe.exe showed up there could be the reason. Disable or uninstall them and try loading saves again.  For instance, PROBABLE CALL STACK:   [0 ] 0x7FF7D3865003    SkyrimSE.exe+0CE5003     call qword ptr [rdi+10h]   [1 ] 0x7FF7D2EBD7E9    SkyrimSE.exe+033D7E9     test eax,eax   [2 ] 0x7FFA9A0281CB ConsoleUtilSSE.dll+00281CB     mov rbx,[rsp+38h]   [3 ] 0x7FFA9A01624F ConsoleUtilSSE.dll+001624F     mov rax,[rdi]   [4 ] 0x7FFA9A01B01C ConsoleUtilSSE.dll+001B01C     add rsp,48h   [5 ] 0x7FFA9A016D27 ConsoleUtilSSE.dll+0016D27     nop   [6 ] 0x7FF7D3FB5715    SkyrimSE.exe+1435715     test al,al   [7 ] 0x7FF7D3FC6409    SkyrimSE.exe+1446409     mov r14d,eax in this case its the ConsoleUtil.dll causing the crash  Just wanna share my experience and hopefully anyone with similar situation could fix their game. All the best guys! And f**k you Todd
LustyWolf0721 Posted December 16, 2023 Author Posted December 16, 2023 Oh btw I still got one issue left which is I can't play in full screen. No matter how I change the SkryimPref.ini or other files, it does not seem to work at all. I have seen one solution in steam discussion but it requires me to create a new user for the laptop which makes no sense and cause way too much trouble. If anyone has the same issue and come up with a solution I will really appreciate it.
LustyWolf0721 Posted December 16, 2023 Author Posted December 16, 2023 Just now, RumCoy said: ConsoleUtilSSE NG Yep I have already switched to that one. But thanks anyways!
