SkyrimOne Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 Hello, I have been trying (multiple times) to find the proper configuration for Schlongs of Skyrim with lack of success. I was able to have the full schlong system working properly only under Skyrim VR, but failing under Skyrim SE/AE, Fallout, Fallout VR. Now, I have hard time to follow all updates of mods in Loverslab -- there are too many pages of support to read and some mods are starting years back, the links do not always work... To make the story short, if you know how this thing works properly and you have the same configuration as I have, PLEASE provide a link and/or a full label of the file I need to download that will match with below specifications: This is what I have: - Skyrim version 1.6.40.0.8 - SKSE64 2.2.3 - SkyUI v5.2SE + The https://www.loverslab.com/topic/95031-schlongs-of-skyrim-se/#comment-2167177 suggests the following requirements: Skyrim SE v1.5.97 SKSE64 v2.0.17 SkyUI v5.2SE + XPMSSE v4.51 + (optional but highly recommended) Unfortunately, I cannot match the indicated configuration (obsolete) so I end with the "DLL is missing or reported to be the wrong version" error. The SoS AE 1.0.3 installed with or without Shlongs_of_Skyrim_SE_VR-1.0.7z or Shlong_of_Skyrim_VR-1.14.7z did not resolve the issue. Please help!!! Many thanks!!
Dorabella Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 And why do you think this is a problem of Sexlab ? How come you did not address it in the appropriate Thread , since you also linked it ? Lack of desire ?
JimUpdating Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 the Skyrim SE/AE compatibility tracker, run by Tasairis, has the note that some mods, including SoS AE, may need an update for SKSE with the latest version release. so there may be a small pause as all the systems update. Choice of waiting and checking the compatibility tracker, or doing a complete downgrade to 1.5.97 (which may cause other mods in your load to have issues).

I have "frozen" my Skyrim build to run the below configuration, so I have less issues of compatibility with the recent Skyrim release. -- basically, I do not let Steam to upgrade my Skyrim..... - Skyrim version 1.6.40.0.8 - SKSE64 2.2.3 - SkyUI v5.2SE + If the above is basically because of the recent change, it does not apply to me.

This is why forums are so irritating to me, too many people caught up in being smartasses who think they have anything better to do instead of just answering questions like they're better off doing. 2

SkyrimOne Posted October 13, 2024 Author Posted October 13, 2024 I do not know if there is a way to close "officially" a post, but this post is close to be 1 year old. I have installed Skyrim possibly 100 times since this post, and I've resolved this issue. Also, there are even better options to consider. In any event, case closed!
