[XCL] [0.20] Too Horny to Sleep (THotS)

With this mod characters with high arousal will be unable to sleep at night and will be forced to either masturbate or succeed a willpower check to resist. Originally this was mostly intended to be used in conjunction with other mods that add pills or drugs which can have adverse effects when orgasming such as BR Pills or Spike Fun. By now, though, the base game also has a couple situations where this can be relevant, for example if you're on a Resistance pill.

 

The arousal thresholds to trigger the event can be set separately for male and female characters. Note that you will still only be able to masturbate once per night and if you failed to orgasm the event won't trigger.

I think forcing a chance % character to approach your stepdad for assistance while female or Alexia while male would take this mod up another level.

Hey everyone,

so sorry for not replying sooner and thanks for all the reports! I was indisposed for a while after an accident, but I'm fine again now.

I think I've identified the issue (again). The game wasn't properly initializing the mod's settings unless you've changed them at least once. My provisional fix didn't really help. Not sure what I was thinking back then...

Anyway, I've prepared a fix and updated the mod for base game version 0.20+ and will upload it soon.

Hi @KTX_Katalin just wanting to report a bug I encountered on my recent game. Which I believe is related to "Added shower thoughts for the morning after getting a THotS scene under risky circumstances".

 

XCL version 0.20.7 using Chrome Browser

THotS version 0.3

Brand new game with character made in full modded game ( I don't know the characters name sorry )

steps to trigger bug: Try to sleep -> force yourself to sleep -> succeed either through skill-roll/Mini-game/Action point -> shower (Morning Action)

 

I was able consistently reproduce the bug each new game day by repeating the steps above.

When I disabled THotS and loaded the affected save and did the above steps the bug didn't show. I was also able to reproduce the bug with only Thots enabled and nothing else.

Thank you for the detailed report @Evelynith! I have found the issue and will upload a fix soon. It's great timing, too, since I found another small bug I can fix alongside this one.
