The PERFECT hentai game?

Does such a thing even exist? Or could it. I would think something like GTA but you can do anything sexually to anyone, would be the goal. Such a thing would be VERY hard to do. I've seen it tried before, as far back as 'Bone Town', man what a classic. You guys ever play that one? lol

Maybe I am missing something, I've been out of the loop for a while just making my own content mostly in Blender but also Unreal Engine. That's become a very powerful tool for making naughty content!

I'm not sure if perfect could exist under the scrutiny of a diverse playerbase. Bound to upset or disappoint a good portion of them no matter which way you go with it. 

 

In my experience just finding any hentai or adult game that can stand on the merits of having tangible gameplay is proving futile. There's probably a lot of grey areas that would go to defining whether a game has anything of substance outside of just sexual interactions. But even if you simplify it down to the most basic principles of game design, there's really not a lot happening on that front. 

 

 

There are so many fine lusty games which are good in their own right, but virtually all of them are only good on the merits of sexual content they offer with no actual appreciable gameplay mechanics to serve as a foundation to tie it all together. At least no foundation that comes close even to average B-tier titles. The vast majority being visual novels, point & click adventures and overtly cumbersome and dated retro style games. 

 

I don't think I could produce a single example of an adult/hentai game where the gameplay is visceral, dynamic, balanced or meaningful enough to justify playing it outside of your desire to engage in sex or depravity. This would likely go a long way to explaining why adult mods for existing 'real' games with 'real' gameplay represent the pinnacle of success in the realm of adult gaming. 

 

The closest thing I could find in all my years was Bioasshard which is basically ripped content from Resident evil and is ultimately disappointing given the extremely limited scope of the project and lack of continuity or coherence. Though it is a game that I would consider to have actual gameplay, something with substance. Even that is a bad example, but it's all I have in the absence of anything else.

The Sims 4 with mods, Skyrim with mods, Virt a Mate, maybe Honey Selection/Playhome with VR addons, but not so good as the others games.

 

In the future maybe we can see, Cyberpunk if somebody make a framework for animations, has a lot of potencial with AI too.

And Baldurs Gate 3, because we already have a framework for animations, but need more animators xD.

 

But the best one so far to me, TS4 with mods and VAM.

Animating for BG3 is not hard. The limiting factor now is the framework does not (that I know of) allow another mod to initiate a sex scene or have an easy way to add additional animations. I think these are work ons, and when they are done, we will maybe see a lot more mods for that game.

I agree on your first point.  Just as with regular games, people have widely varying tastes and you can't make everyone happy.

 

As for adult games with tangible gameplay, there are a few quality Metroidvania-type adult games out there.  The best example I can think of is probably Nightmare Sphere, which was actually better most mainstream Metroidvanias I've played (it was probably in the top 20%).  Sadly, the dev's page is gone, so it no longer seems to be available (and unfortunately, I don't have a copy of it anymore).  Alien Quest: EVE is pretty decent, though a bit grindy.  I've played some other good ones, but it's been a while and I don't remember the names off the top of my head, nor do I have them on my current (brand new, essentially) laptop.

 

Outside of Metroidvanias, Visual Novels, and simulation games (Honey Select series, Koikatsu series, Artificial Academy series), there isn't much, though.

 

Oh, and then there's Maidensnow Eve which is my personal favorite adult game of all time, but it's not everyone's cup of tea (very complicated roguelike, you'll need to use Google Translate on the Japanese wiki to fully understand the mechanics, and the official English translation is kind of comical ("resist physics" will never not make me chuckle), though there is a fan-made patch out there that improves it considerably).

Wished I could find one...or a game with perfect horny mods...I constantly search but all I can find are visual novels, RPG Maker games (not really a fan of those), 3D games with the characters looking just ugly...or free-to-play games with the usual free-to-play bs. Or when I do find something with potential...it was either never finished, or doesn't last very long. Never played any of the ones that cost money aside from Koikatsu and the AI counterpart (AI just being, crap...).

 

Then there are the ones that look like I'd enjoy...only to find out it involves fetishes I'm not into...like furries...or futas...or something like that...

Very late late reply but I just saw this and got a bit annoyed at people saying it doesn't exist.

 

It does. It's called Karryn's Prison.

 

You play as a super sexy warden of a prison full of men with huge dongs. She doesn't want to be there. She also has some sort of superiority complex, especially next to the empire's prisoners.

 

Your job is to manage the prison on a daily basis, making sure the finances and order of the prison don't go into too low or into the negatives. You do this with edicts. You also keep the order by going in and fighting the prisoners.

 

That's the gameplay. How is the H included? In the gameplay.

 

During combat, Karryn has desire meters that go up and down (mostly up). Prisoners will never outright rape her non con. Instead, during combat, they will tempt her by dirty talk, playing with their junk, staring at her tits and ass (etc). This causes her desire to go up (to a very low cap at first). If you let those desires constantly build up, or she experiences new actions, Karry gets new lewd passives after fights that allows those desires to have a higher cap, or go up faster. Like (Men like watching my tits) or something, causes her tits desire cap to go up. Rack up too many passives and she starts getting curious enough to let them grope whichever part has a high enough desire. Go even higher and she starts letting them do actual sex stuff.

 

You can go through the entire game trying to keep that as low as possible, fighting them off the conventional way. You can go full slut and try for the passives instead, as sexually satisftying prisoners restores orders as well. 

 

There are side jobs that you can do to improve prison conditions. If you choose to let it (or you tried not to and it failed) those side jobs end up being sex stuff too.

 

The management can get easier if you have edicts that improve order but allows prisoners to sex her up more too.

 

There's a huge variety of poses and sex animation cut ins. Karryn has lines of dialogue for every sex action, and they get changed as you rack up the passives and she starts getting more curious/enjoying them more/full on is the one that's initating them (yes, you get sex attacks eventually too. Gender equality and all lol). Even better, the voice lines are all voiced in ENG and JAP, so you get the fun of that too.

 

This is the best example that exists of gameplay and hentai co-existing and working together.

It could be Mad Island if they keep developing it and add mods so it can be customized for different fetishes. The gameplay without the hentai element is super fun, and the hentai parts only make it that much better. It just came available in Early Access on Steam.

This is why people keep making mods for games that already exist, because games are already functional games and the sex drive injected into it just adds that special something.


If I could have my perfect sex game? It'd be a simulator game about being a bully. You're in a school, it generates a buncha npcs and plops your ass into it. The whole thing is a big perfectly functional sandbox that exists on a schedule and the main driver of chaos is you... You have a big web of interconnected relationships, potential friends... potential assets... potential victims. You might decide to be a delinquent asshole and just beat up your rivals and rape girls but that's going to get your ass expelled which is game over

The game part of the game is politics, but in micro, interpersonal. Teachers are always going to hold themselves as superior to you as a student but you can coerce or manipulate them too... you start out on your first day and the goal is pretty fuckin' simple, to fuck as many, as specific, as completely or as much as you personally like, the people that you perfer... men, women, boys and girls, its all generated and gains meaning through nothin' but systems, like rimworld but nobody 'dies' or goes away so always your actions continue in the future, play smart, play dumb, play mean, play nice, whatever.

As for my actual GOAT? Degrees of Ludity, I'm not really a masochist but in terms of visceral design the game does a really good job. You're stuck in a place that can only be called 'Rape City' (not its actual canon name but its not really important) and everyone there is a skeevy pervert who sees you as nothing but a piece of walking talking meat or trash... which is peak form following function, its better than the mindless sidescroller where you play as a six foot tall sex doll that for some reason is attacking random buff monsters or whatever corny anime trash where you're expected to both want to win AND lose... DOL basically puts you in a position that you're going to lose unless you spin plates, take risks and eventually succumb to the setting in some way. You will lose, suffer and critically, get raped a whole lot... but the point is you have to than recover, continue even worse off than you were before... there are no hard bad ends, but plenty of soft ones that you can get roped into for a time before eventually making the decision of giving up... or keeping on going into the world to continue trying to 'be normal' despite the fact that you are so obviously just there to fuck...

The closest I've found for me so far have been AI*Shoujo and Artifical Girl 3. I would love to have a less lazy company take a crack at that style of play with maybe with a built-in modding api and more Sims-like character stuff.

 

I'd also be very happy with a Dark Souls action RPG with full controllable sex scenes.

 I played an older version of Carnal Instinct, possibly back in 2023. It reminded me a ton of Assassin's Creed Origins.
It's definitely a full-blown 3d Game with sex, but I personally was not a fan of the furry, lesbian and futa focus. Your mileage may vary if those are your fetishes. 
 

 

As for the perfect game, I do like systemic games, like what shitloadsoflizards describes. And that would make for a good "game", but more so than that, it's the narrative situations that occur that make it a good "hentai game" to me. I don't want just sex for the sake of it. I don't want sex scenes, without good writing, build-up, emotion, and consequence.

Even with the best art, if the game is you walking up to an NPCs and click the "lets fuck" button, that's not exciting to me. 

 

So my perfect game would be some sort of melding between systemic design and exciting erotic narrative situations. Where the game's systems lead you to the erotic narratives, or help frame the erotic situations in the game, but the erotic scenes have good, emotional, erotic writing, with great art. And that's a tough ask.
