hight glitchish

hello my female character is taller then normal she is set to hight 1 and shes a tad taller the the female npc's is there anyway to fix this?

Method one:

Bring up the console via tilde (~) key, click your character, then type "player.setscale 1.0", Play with the numbers to your desired height.

 

Method two:

Install The RaceMenu mod (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29624//?)

Follow install/use instructions, then adjust the height slider.

I'm not sure what defines a created char height by vanilla standards, I know it is a range defined number by race and each NPC is defined within. But the PC, no clue.

 

You can use the console with "player.setscale xx" but this will scale everything, including physical damage

 

There is a Height command in Skyrim but idk what the console command is, with a custom race, you can define your height in the esp w/o effecting the rest of the game.

 

Then there's mods; ECE or Racemenu will let you do it from the char creation window, without the repercussions of the setscale command.

awesome thanks i do have the racemenu installed ill try the consol command a try thanks

what helped in my case was removing skeleton_female.hkx file, from ..\data\meshes\actors\character\character assets female folder

for some reason it reappeared after i modded something, just double check your folder
