The Sims 4 and polyamorous trait

Heya,

 

For some reason when I try to add polyamorous trait to my sim, it won't stay at all. It's like after I add it, it automatically instantly removes it.

 

Is this a bug, or what could the reason?

Two possible reasons:

- If your sim has a trait that goes against polyamory, such as jealousy, it might not allow polyamory to be added

- Temporary (and I can confirm this one works):  If your sim is currently experiencing relationship fears, which crops up from time to time when you start a committed relationship, you have to talk these over with your partner, then this negative trait vanishes from your sim's traits.  Then you can add Polyamorous.
