The picture textures should be of high quality, so you can even enlarge them to an enormous size, without quality loss on the image itself. Keep in mind I sometimes used the frames of the base game, thus they have the quality of the base game.

Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods

For better organization you can sort them in a new folder there, like "CC Pictures"/"CC Decoration" or similar.

 

Remember to activate mods/cc in your game settings!

these files are all of a sudden getting the rainbow question mark in Build and buy mode again.

Ok so the download of part 2 should be fixed now.
I'll have a look into Mitchelpoo's comment, if they are displayed as question-mark textures. It shall be noted tho, that i used pre-made meshes back then which I do not have as base anymore. For all my newer content I use self-made meshes.
If the error do persists and I got time, I maybe transfer them to the new meshes if wanted.
