Another mod with a Plus? Yes. Another mod that's actually a framework? Also yes. Don't tell me... hold on... it needs Onyx API, doesn't it? Yes!

 

This adds a very basic Web Search feature that you can search keywords for. Adds a [web_page] tag for mod creators.

 

Speaking of; if you'd like to impliment your own, simple (set:$search_results to it +(a:"your","entries")) in your init and have a [web_page] tag on a passage with your "pages" in it.

(if:$search_result is "yourTerm")[stuff]

Easy as!

I've been a bit busy and didn't get a change to leave feedback for the earlier demo of this. Some of my thoughts (forgive me if they've been addressed since then):

• The searched keyword needs to be exact? This seems a bit challenging for the players.
• I feel like pressing enter/return should submit the search. Instead, in the version I tried, it added a new line to the search text. I'm assuming you don't want more than one or two works in searches.

Other than that, it's an interesting mechanic. Not at all what I pictured at first (which would have been just to have all the topics as a list of buttons to click).

Mods for X-Change Life are Twee files, JS files, or Zip files (renamed as XCL files).

Well I was looking for a Breeding Mod for The Sims 4 on Bing using the words Sims 4 Breeding Sex Mod & stumbled across this without even noticing the game it was for (If you don't include the word sex, you'll end up with a list of results leading to Mods for PET BREEDING)

 

Guess that's what I get for relying on a search engine like Bing for Adult Mods 🤣😂
