Could this be a version issue?  I'm on 1.01 which I believe is the latest.

I had the same issue and found that this mod doesn't work with the update. If on Ryujinx you can easily turn off the update in the menu, not to sure about real switch hardware.

Same here, I'm on real hardware... If the mod can be updated to work on the latest version on a hacked Switch, I can record some HQ gameplay videos!

I imagine you would just modify the files that are based on the latest version of the game.

Like have the update installed, extract the game's RomFS files and then edit them from there.

Works great without update. Thanks for your help. For anyone else stuck on Switch with v 1.01 you can use DBI to remove the update.
