badass67767 Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Hello everyone! I was hoping to ask if anyone knows how to add custom races to SoS (oldrim version) to give them schlongs? I've been wanting to play the Snow Elves that Zebsirious adds, but they seem to only have a hole in the groin. I've also tried looking elsewhere on how to add, but there hasn't been much in concrete answers. Does anyone know how to add custom races to SoS or make them compatible? Or even have a tutorial? It deserves to be mentioned that I've never modded before, but if it's simple enough to do then I'm willing to learn. The mod I'm using, by the way: Zebsirious - Tamrielic Races of Skyrim
badass67767 Posted October 22, 2023 Author Posted October 22, 2023 Ok, thank you for the mod and the tutorial, I really appreciate it! Here's hoping this goes well!
badass67767 Posted October 22, 2023 Author Posted October 22, 2023 Ok. I think I'm learning bits and pieces as I go through stuff! At the moment I do have one big worry though: will I need to make textures for the body? When I tried SoS, the body looked fine enough for the various races, so I really don't know if I need to replace those. ><"
badass67767 Posted October 22, 2023 Author Posted October 22, 2023 Ok! I've gotten through most of the tutorial but now I'm at something that's really confusing me now. In particular, it's this portion as seen below. I already understand the first part on setting up gender and that's looking fine, but RaceProbabilityXX onwards it's what's starting to confuse me. In particular, my question is this: Zebsirious's Dwemer Vampire race is at 00 on the CompatibleRaces file. Would this mean that the thing that determines their RaceProbability would be RaceProbability00? And then it would go onwards from there? And given it's in the same ballpark, would it be the same way where RaceSizeXX where the "XX" = refers to the number of the race in CompatibleRaces? I uh...also hope this doesn't sound horrible but I also have no clue on how to change the textures to suit the race so I fear I may need to ask someone else to handle that. DX
flutie Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 my modding skills are limited. My advice is to contact chuckseven1, he is the author of SOSAE. My best skill is pointing people in the right direction to find the help they need, i just know where to find most of the info
