SexLab x Nexus Immersive&Adult mod collection

I've been trying to mod Skyrim SE v1.5.97 for the last few days. After a certain point, I continued without checking the compatibility of the mods using LOOT. That's why my game is broken. Actually, I could fix it, but since I last modded Skyrim 10 years ago, my current modding is "messy". Now I will mod it again from scratch, but I have a couple of problems.

-First of all, can I run Ostim NG and SexLab together in harmony?

-Secondly, I have the Special Edition version and when I download skse64 it asks me to download the AE version. And as far as I can see on Google, first downgrading Skyrim to v1.5.97 and then modding it allows us to use old mods. Should I downgrade and mod it or continue with the latest version?

-And lastly, as I mentioned in the title, can I use SexLab and Immersive&Adult mod collection together? Because I want to use SexLab Defeat Baka Edition (I think this is the latest), SoS and SoS futa add-ons. For example, TRX and ERF futa. By the way, can we use TRX and ERF together?

1) You can run Ostim and sexlab together but it is better to try both and then pick only one. My personal preference is Sexlab because of various reasons.

2) If you have Skyrim SE, I would always downgrade it to 1.5.97. Almost all mods are compatible with this version where newer have way less compatible mods. Most of the "upgrades" from newer versions already existed as mods in 1.5.97.

3) Don't know.

I installed both ostim and sexlab in my broken game. I couldn't run Defeat mode. I was only able to try ostim/osex. Variety is important to me and someone on another site said "Ostim is used to produce adult video content, while SexLab is more for gameplay". I think I'll use SexLab too

Sounds about right. I myself am more into gameplay.

For me personally, I use OStim now because I like to have control of what's happening in my erotica moments. The only "downside" is the lack of creature support, but I don't care about that anyways. I've used Sexlab on LE with all the defeat mods and stuff but these days I prefer to have just a sprinkle of adult content. Rather than the kinkiness that is involved with Sexlab mods.

For me, what it boils down to is what you're into. You want kinky smut including beastiality and non-con? Use Sexlab and all its features. You want more wholesome adult situations? Use OStim.

sexlab and ostim can work together, so the I&A collection should work with Sexlab. You will need FNIS installed and able to run, I think I&A comes with the ostim animation already set up for plug and play (lol), so adding in Sexlab will need FNIS and SLAL and any of the animation packs you'd want to add in for the defeat mod of choice.

For the 1.5.97 vs AE - if for I&A you're looking at https://next.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/collections/xxsqm4, this is for AE 1.6.640,  I can't spot a version for 1.5.97.

on the I&A description:

  • Works with / without paid AE DLC content.
  • Uses the latest game version on Steam - which is 1.6.640
