When I go into the map menu, game crashes. Nowhere specific, just happens everywhere.

I am using A Clear Map of Skyrim and Other Worlds at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)

I put the esp's, A clear map of skyrim and map patch for Midwood Isle at the bottom of load order just above dyndolod.

Kind of suspicious that the thread apparently started from gameoverlayrenderer64.dll. This isn't technically possible as far as I know. Disable that and test again.

 

Edit: Nevermind, apparently it can't be disabled, its always loaded. The callstack is not 100% reliable in this case.

 

Edit again: Oh derp, this log is from .Net crash logger. Don't think that one has produced a reliable callstack in about a year now. So most likely only entries 0-5 are reliable, and the same goes for the stack except its harder to tell where the cutoff is there; maybe SP+2E8?

 

Edit again: Actually, the stack looks fine. It's just the callstack that was read wrong.

Your problem is in formid 0x4E1036D1 from Whiterun Riverside Expansion.esp or formid 0x10 from GemstoneLegacy.esp.

 

Edit: If not, then post more crash logs, preferably when you're standing in different locations around Skyrim. Markarth, Riften, indoors, outdoors, next to water, next to mountains, ... 2-3 logs should be enough.

I had two other crashes from that day:

Right so the registers keep changing between each crash log, yet the (valid part of the) callstack stays the same. This is telling me its either a race condition or because of external interference:

1. Any mod altering the swf file providing MapMenu.
2. Any mod altering the swf file providing HUDMenu.
3. Any mod with a dll.
4. 3rd party software: overlays, antivirus, other silly stuff like that. (unlikely)
5. Hardware or driver problems. (unlikely)

Also you may inspect this esp list, as it shows up consistently in SP+A0. It may be your entire plugin list, but the way its listed there makes it appear like they all make changes to the Tamriel worldspace, thus they're all prime suspects as well:
