AmarantS Posted October 12, 2023 Posted October 12, 2023 I want to make an equipable katana with piercing like Etherwind( ), but my knowledge is not enough for this. Help/explain please!!
AmarantS Posted October 12, 2023 Author Posted October 12, 2023 As far as I understand, the katana first needs to be made an equippable item. I do not know how to do it
wareware Posted October 12, 2023 Posted October 12, 2023 Turning a weapon into a piercing like that isn't hard. You need to know your way around outfit studio. Load up a body reference, import the weapon model, delete the blade mesh on the model, match it to the nipples, copy bone weights and conform it. Then change the partition to what you want the equipment to be. A jerry rigged way to do it would be to use Immersive Equipment Display and position the weapon however you want. Actually making the "weapon" unsheathe from that position instead of just being cosmetic would require way more effort.

So I mapped the katanas to the nipples, but I can't figure out how to copy the weight of the bones... Edited October 13, 2023 by AmarantS
