Budoop Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 (edited) As title, everytime I quit to main menu or quit to desktop all cum overlays dissapear. I'm using cum overlays extended but asking there has sadly yeilded no results. Cum overlays extended recoginizes that the NPC should have overlays as the SCO overlays have tracked layers, but the Sexlab overlays have once again reset to 0. The character is totally bare of any layers though and they don't come back until I finish a scene with them, in which all the missing overlays returns. Any idea why this is or how to fix it, I tried increasing the max racemenu overlays already but no luck with that unfortunately. I even tried a total reinstall with only the bare minimum mods required for this to work but even then they were dissapearing on load. traison Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 My first suspicion would be that ActiveMagicEffect.GetTimeElapsed() returns an invalid value after a game is loaded. sslActorCumEffect.psc:12 if ActorRef.IsSwimming() || GetTimeElapsed() > Timer Dispel() Consider printing a debug message there to see if that's getting triggered.

You asking that tells me your setup is not prepared for script compiling. Its going to take longer to do that than figure this problem out most likey. Replace your existing sslActorCumEffect.pex with the script attached here. Load a game where you used to have layers and look for debug messages in the top left corner. Create backups of any files you replace, you most likely don't want to continue playing with these debug scripts. sslActorCumEffect.pex

Oakflesh and the other armor spells do this. Some weather mods add their wet-effect in a similar manner, also overriding SL. That doesn't quite match what your MCM screenshot is saying though (I assume) with SL layers being at 0. Create a save when the SL layers are gone from your player character, and upload it here. Edit: SKSE co-save is not needed. Ahh I forgot to mention, the players are persistent on load. But I play a male and shouldn't have any of those to begin with. The NPC shouldn't have any kind of oakflesh but who knows. I do have Cathedral weathers on IIRC but not sure if that'd do it. Also I believe cum overlays extended changes them to racemenu overlays instead of magic. Or is that why the default sexlab ones reset and the COEs don't? Edited October 6, 2023 by Budoop

I think someting else has broken though because none of them can be reapplied anymore and I never had that issue till now. Edit: Assuming the pex does that cause no overlays in new game either.
