Actors not aligned well in animations when using 3BBB and DFS

I've been using 3BBB with Discrete Female Skeleton (and BodyTalk for men) but actors in AAF animations are not aligned correctly relative to each other.

 

I could switch to Fusion Girl, and that seems to solve that issue, but I'd need go find a preset that I enjoy and unfortunately I'm fairly picky. (I'm using FAPP right now. It is the only preset I've found that I like.) It'd be a bit of work and something of a tradeoff.

 

In the mean time, I'm wondering if anybody had success with configuring 3BBB and AAF to work properly or otherwise not have this issue that I'm running into. If there are workarounds to be shared.
