Eternally faithful automatic on all sims and can't be turned off

All of my Sims have Eternally Faith automatically enabled.  The trait is greyed out and can't be disabled.  When pulling up the list of traits for each Sim, the trait isn't listed.

 

I can't do anything with any of my Sims.  They can have romantic interactions and even get married, but no fun times.  

 

I've tried Googling this, and all I'm getting are a ton of people with the same issue but no solution.
