Miauzi Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 Well - already after the 2 days of test-playing the weekend before last ... I noticed the lack of something very important that I actually know from EVERY SFI space game (Kerbal Space or Elite) -> a coordinate network above the moon or planet - with the help of which I can exactly determine my landing point on the ARCH-SECOND. This adventurous clicking with the mouse on a small 2D disk can't be the last word, can it? Since the 17th century, it has been a central concern of mankind to survey the earth and to find a point once it has been discovered - to determine its exact coordinates. Yes - in the age of GPS hardly anyone knows today - how to navigate on the open sea with a sextant and a chronometer - in the end it doesn't matter. After watching a number of Youtuber contributions to the game ... I now assume - that they have deliberately left out a coordinate system ... you have to somehow maintain the illusion of a freely explorable planet.
