RushTX Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 I tried finding a similar topic already posted on this but didn't find anything. I may have missed something, so please refer me to anything that's already been discussed about this. I recently reopened my long abandoned strip club with a new owner. Since then, people are randomly walking in. Sometimes when it's open (they don't have the word Client over their head) and sometimes after it's closed. It's annoying when they come in after we're closed because I'm trying to get my Sim to tidy up and get their needs up etc. Anyone know how to stop this from happening? I hate to lock the front door because I worry that I'll forget to unlock it each time the club is supposed to be open. I just want to stop random sims from coming in and just have my clients coming in WHEN it is OPEN (current hours are 8 pm to 6 am). I've been using MCCC to send these wanderers home but it's driving me nuts. Thanks!
PC Naughty Gamer Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 (edited) There's a simple solution to that - Lock the doors Works every time ? Edited September 7, 2023 by PC Naughty Gamer
RushTX Posted September 7, 2023 Author Posted September 7, 2023 Yes but what about customers/clients when the strip club is open??
RushTX Posted September 7, 2023 Author Posted September 7, 2023 Under lock doors there's an option, Everything but Escort Business (Directional). But mine is just a strip club and not an escort business. Or does the game count it as that?
RushTX Posted September 8, 2023 Author Posted September 8, 2023 (edited) I locked the doors for everyone but club members (for now). Because I have a sex club I'm going to have gather at the strip club before it opens. My strip club owner is a member. So now I have a bunch of sims that enter the lot and just stand outside the entrance playing on their phones. It's like they are congregating there. And I'm still doing MCCC, Self Command, Go Home on them to get them to leave. It's driving me nuts..... I still don't know why non-clients come into the strip club at all. Before, when I had it up and running, I would just get clients come in. It has the word "Client" in red over their head when you put the cursor on them. Then it will say what they came to do (Watcher, Socializer, Drinker, or sometimes Loiterer) The non-clients don't have that info. I never had non-clients coming in before. So I feel like something is missing or something I've forgotten about in how to set this up. And I just noticed this. When they spawn on the lot (not just townies but some of my own sims too from other families), they have a thought bubble with the dance floor (which there is one in my strip club) in it. Then they run up to just in front of the entrance and stop, and start playing on their phone. Until I make them leave via MCCC. Somebody please tell me what is up with this. (If anyone knows LOL) Could it be the lot traits? I've got Hypersexual and LGBTQ+ hangout lot traits on there. Rush Edited September 8, 2023 by RushTX
RushTX Posted September 8, 2023 Author Posted September 8, 2023 The group gathered outside the door (yep someone is getting a BJ up there close to the door LOL). I'm having a club gathering right now and door is locked for everyone except club members. I haven't been paying attention to the front door to MCCC them home. This didn't happen before. That's why I wonder why it is happening now. It's kind of weird. 1

LOL Sorry that made me chuckle. Yes, of course. I understand. II just didn't want to bother with locking and unlocking the doors. (Or forget to unlock them every single time) I was mainly just curious why this was happening, as it wasn't happening before when I had the strip club running several generations ago. Anyways, thank you so much. 1

Do you think the owner of A REAL Strip Club would forget to unlock the doors when it's time to open for business knowing full well there's likely going to be a crowd of customers waiting to gp in?? lol 1
