Little Bit of Help Needed

As it says, I need a bit of help. it's been a hot minute since I've played and modded, but I'm running into an issue of animations for sexlab not working. I can provide my current mod list and active mods. By not working I mean the scene appears to initiate, and the HUD and everything changes, but everyone just stands there for a moment and after a short wait I can move again. I do get a strange FNIS warning about not finding the right path, but everything is done correctly so I'm not sure how to get that to work

The FNIS and Papyrus logs will be necessary here.

What'd be the way to get to those? I'm assuming the FNIS will be in the main game folder where it's pathed but I'm not sure about the papyrus. Thank you for the help though!

For the FNIS output, that just means a screenshot of the text that generates when you run FNIS.

When FNIS gives you a warning, you should be 0% confused when animations are broken. Warnings mean FNIS isn't working the way it's supposed to. At least you managed to avoid the "animation is not LE/SE compatible, what do?" warning that hundreds of people are apparently incapable of understanding.

I don't know 100% without seeing the output, but I think the path issue is fairly simple. There are 3 possible problems:

  1. You need to start Skyrim at least once without SKSE, that is launch it normally through Steam (or whatever platform you have it on).
  2. Some Windows security feature is interfering with FNIS. Solutions include disabling your firewall (maybe not the best idea), making an exclusion for FNIS, or running FNIS in a compatibility mode for an older version of Windows.
  3. You have a pirated/illegal copy of Skyrim. Fore doesn't like pirates and FNIS will not work.

Thank you! I'll attempt to do this, it's just a bit funky since my skyrim is downgraded atm to 1.5.97 so I'd have to update it through steam which might break more. It's a pathing warning but the reason I was confused is because I fixed all the pathing earlier (I moved stuff from an old pc to this one so my steam was in a different folder). I'll try that though!
