New patch broke WW

Wicked Whims no longer loads up at all, even after a fresh install. Only error code I get is that its missing key files to load, no error report is being generated.  I verified that the files do in fact exist and are installed correctly.

This is after I reinstalled the game clean, and then installed WW by itself to the mods folder as shown by the Installation Video.

If I were to wager a guess I would say either:

 

A) You accidentally unpacked the script file <doubtful but possible>

B) The script file is more than 1 folder deep.

Did you make sure you have script mods enabled as it says in the message?

was just reading about this and it has now happened to me. when did this update happen? everything worked last night.

 

edit 2 min later: I did not have script mods on. Did not see that coming.
