milkandcoookies Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Hi there! New to using this mod so bear with me. My sim is sexually active but is on birth control and uses condoms with both of her partners. I also set her chance of pregnancy on the lower side. My sim is single and has an infant already and we ain’t trying to have another one lol. Anyway, every time she has sex, there’s an alert that she might be pregnant and so I always have her take a test. Every time she does this, she gets a sad moodlet about her failure to conceive. The thing is, we don’t need any more babies around here, and I want her to be happy that she’s not pregnant. I’ve seen screenshots of other people sharing happy moodlets about avoided pregnancy…how can I get my game to do the same? I hate that she’s sad all the time

When that happens, such as getting sick, showing baby thoughts in her bubbles, etc.. Then take a pregnancy test..

Apologies because I don’t think I phrased my post correctly. What I’m trying to fix is her sad moodlet. I don’t want her to have the sad “failed to conceive moodlet” because it’s not realistic to the story I’m telling. I want her to be happy/relieved to not be pregnant.
PC Naughty Gamer Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 (edited) Have your sim take a Pregnancy Awareness Test But remember, the lower the pregnancy chances are, the less likelihood pregnancy will occur In other words, just because your sim has A 42% Chance Of Pregnancy doesn't mean they're going tp get pregnant as you can see in the video Edited August 13, 2023 by PC Naughty Gamer

Let your sim live confidently with her birth control choices until that 1% chance occurs and spices things up unexpectely. A quick Google search brought up this mod on Lumpinou's page. I know nothing about it, but the description seems to suggest it could let you change how your sim feels about pregnancy: https://lumpinoumods.com/2020/10/20/woohoo-wellness-pregnancy-overhaul-description-1/ Edited August 13, 2023 by fengrong
