How to change slot thong takes up

When I equip a top it unequips my bottom, and vice versa.

There are two entries that contain the slot in the esp, the Armor and Armor Addon. You can change these in xEdit. There is also an entry in the .nif that you will need to change with Nifskope. This is the BSDismemberSkinInstance, and you want to open the Partition block. Alternatively, you can convert the block to a NiSkinInstance, which remove the partition entirely so only the esp entries matter. If you have no idea what any of this means, look up some guides for xEdit and Nifskope.

 

Also keep in mind the Schlongs of Skyrim (SoS) mod messes with any clothing that is part of slot 52. You can either set each piece of clothing as revealing in the MCM or turn off the schlongify script altogether.
