i honestly never realized how niche the games actually were.

I guess all we need is just someone dedicated enough to replace the model with the one I've provided.

I probably could do the honours myself but the game runs worse than I expected on my PC so I didn't get to Rivet's part yet.

But they also said it runs like poop on their system, so it's hard to expect them to go through all the effort of modding it. It would be awesome if they did, though!

that's because sony hardcore fucked up the pc port, like they do all of their pc ports

I played God of War a long while ago and the game actually runs pretty well for me, I think on High settings at 60 FPS 1080p.

Ratchet on PC is hardly what I call a bad port, it's just weird. I've seen videos with similar rigs to mine running the game on High settings at 60 FPS and native 1080p with no upscaling while I can barely maintain above 30-50 FPS on Medium... which I don't want to settle for.

 

Also, the people who play Bethesda games are just a different demographic. There's still a lot of people who play 3D platformers on PC, just not as much as console players, and considering the family-friendly nature of these games, of course there's going to be few of us who enjoys defying that nature by making the characters exposed.

You mean that one individual that made the Au Naturel Elora mod? They're the outlier of the demographic that is primarily interested in mature action RPGs.

I never said nobody from the Bethesda modding community would make a mod for platformers like Spyro, I'm saying it's unlikely how anybody from those communities would bother to make a NSFW mod outside of Skyrim/Fallout due to drastic gameplay and tone/vibe differences in other games that they may not be interested in, and also because other games aren't as easy to mod. Not to mention it can really just be how they're simply not interested in lewding (niche) family-friendly games.

 

Not like it really matters though because the people who makes mods for Bethesda games aren't the only ones who make nude mods.

Literally anyone can make a nude mod for any game they want if they have the will and the skill to do so, and that's who we really need to get a nude mod for Rift Apart, we don't need anyone from the Skyrim/Fallout community necessarily.

Dunno why the fanatical blind rage against Sony, but 'Sony' didn't do anything. Firstly, every single port except for the Last of US was fairly good, and those with hiccups like Horizon Last Dawn got oodles of work to fix them up, but none were complete nightmares like The Last of US was.

 

Secondly, each studio did their own port to my knowledge. Santa Monica Studio chose to port God of War all on their own, did all the work themselves, and put a lot of love into it including resdoing every single scene just to include Ultrawide support. It runs so well that it runs well even on the Steam Deck.

 

Finally, Ratchet and Clank runs great on most systems and has been considered an overall great port. It's just a damanding game. No surprise, since it's the only nextgen game ported over yet. All the rest were PS4 games slightly upscaled for PS5. There was a hitch with a specific hardware setup I recall, but it wasn't mine so I don't remember what it was.

 

Not sure why you just like blabbing stuff that is blatantly false, and your belief that you think "Sony" did all the parts alone shows you are definitely clueless on this topic. I suggest you restrain your pointless rage and either don't play the games or celebrate the fact that we're getting them at all on PC. There aren't many PS5 exclusives I care about--or many that exist in the first place--but it's still nice to be able to play them eventually, and the gap is getting shorter and shorter.

 

As for the thread's topic... I would have expected adult mods for this a lot sooner too, personally. Might have to be commissioned instead.

So turns out the fps drops are do to a hidden windows defender bs, if you type "exploit protection" into your search and turn off control flow guard the game runs like butter. Apparently that setting has been responsible for a ton of games not running well. I have a 1080ti, yet am running the game on high graphics with no slowdowns other then in the shop menu which stutters a little on the upgrade tab once you have a ton of weapons. I did also take out the dstroage.dll and dstoragecore.dll to shift the load a little from my gpu to my cpu, but it runs fine with or without them.

Unfortunately that didn't really do much to improve the game's framerate.

I don't know why this game struggles to run well for me when I can run Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Death Stranding, Tekken 8, Resident Evil 4 Remake, and other modern games just fine at 60 FPS with High graphics settings on 1080p without upscaling on Ryzen 5 5600X + RX 6600 XT + 16 GB of RAM. I don't get it.

I have it installed on a SSD but it's not NVMe, is that what matters?

 

Anyway, despite this performance issue of mine, I can still give it a shot at modding the game especially since it's definitely possible to import custom models to the game but unfortunately I'm stuck at being able to edit the game's models. I've extracted them but I don't have any way to import them to Blender so I could edit/replace them.

 

If anyone knows a way to edit this game's models, please let me know.

However, that was like a couple years ago because the creator (Lukas0122_the_best) apparently decided to purge his stuff since then which I think is a massive shame.

Thankfully, I downloaded it before it got removed but there was also a Ratchet model as well that I missed. Here's the archived SmutBase page.

I have found another model of Ratchet that seems to be on-model, created by RockyRCoon, which got released fairly recently in time for the PC version release of R&C: Rift Apart, but it's paywalled however. I mean it does look pretty good but $25 USD is quite steep which is almost A$40 where I live so yeah nah, someone else has to get it.

I could still give it a shot if I know a way to import these models to Blender or another 3D modelling software, and export them back to the original format that the game recognise. I can't progress any further until I find some information or tools that could help me but I can't find them anywhere.

if you can make i working mod for Alisa i have faith that you will find one for Rivet. i am a simple guy though semi nude or just a more feminine character model would be great for me.
