Bikini armors and body slots

I am running LE. I have The World of Bikini Armor installed. For the iron bikini mesh bikini_2_x.nif, the body slot assigned is 32(body). In the esp, the ARMA and ARMO body slot assigned for 00BIB_Bikini_2aa and Iron Bikini Top IIis 32. For that matter, all the iron bikini tops are assigned body slot 32 in the nif files and the esp.

However, for the iron bikini top 2, the mods nether follower framework and OSA report that Iron Bikini top 2 is also assigned the body slot 52. Consequently, I can not assign an NPC to wear the iron bikini top and the thong from Remodeled armor (body slot 52) without the thong being rendered as invisible.

Were else would one assign body slots except in the nif file and the esp? And why does this bikini top still have 52 assigned to it when the nif file and the esp don't show it?

Thanks.

Update:

Changed the body slots for the affected iron bikini top from 32 to 55 in the esp and the nif file. Now NFF and OSA report that the bikini top has slots 55 and 52 assigned to it. So I can not delete the body slot 52 from the bikini top even though the nif file and the esp say its not even assigned.

WTF.

Slots,

There are two places in the ESP that have slots assigned,

ArmorAA <---The part that addresses the location of the mesh file, the races allowed the use of the mesh file, sound effects etc

Armor <---The part that is seen in the inventory screen

Bodyslide/Outfit Studio, particularly Outfit Studio

So open OS,

Load up the armor in question, Check "partitions"

->Although not much different than checking "bones" in Nifskope.

What we want to see is if someone attached another slot to the outfit in this case likely looking for "52" and we will remove said partition and make sure the 32 slot partition covers whole object.

Partitioning is well a very confusing method of attempting to hide parts of the outfit so that it will fit into boots as an example.  I have not had luck getting it to work in that way.

Most of the time adding extra partitions to an outfit just results in somebody coming back with a error report example, my thighs are missing when I wear boots with this outfit.

Old Devious Devices Integration, may mess around with what your character can wear with Device Hider, so be aware of that if its in your load order and look to see what slots its messing with.  In the past it has used slot 52 as device hider slot, made a lot of trouble with TAWOBA.

Also devices on a character obviously means that a NPC/PC cannot wear an item already using that slot.

I'm not on Legendary Edition and it has been years so no idea what version of DDI you would be using if at all.

SOS, sometimes conflicts with TAWOBA or at least in the past, I have had no problems with it and TAWOBA in SE, so all that is a distant memory.  May not be a problem in your case at all.

Figured it out. SOS was dynamically adding slot 52 to the bikinis. In the SOS MCM, the option "Clean schlongified armors" removed the extra body slot and the thongs showed up again.
