There was a bug in the way the old SLIF worked where it would never get to 0, ie. you character was always slightly inflated. I reported it to the author with screenshot evidence, but they insisted it was fine. That was the main reason I made my own "SLIF" years ago.

traison Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 Mine is built into a set of ~30 other custom made mods. None of it is compatible with LL mods. The issue was basically that SLIF had no input value normalization. Back then there was some major confusion about what constitutes no inflation; about half the mods on LL used 1 to mean nothing, and the other half used 0 to mean nothing. If you mix the 2 you end up with a bloated belly. The workaround for SLIF was to use the "subtract 1" calculation mode, but I can't remember if that only worked when you had one 1-based mod or if it would do it for all (meaning 0-based mods would lag behind a bit because of -1). I do however remember that before I decided to do everything myself, I did value normalization on all mods myself - meaning I would edit the code that sent the input value to SLIF and do the normalization there (whether -1 was needed or not), then I used addition calculation mode in SLIF. 1

traison Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 If we assume this is a 1-based mod then the easiest fix would be to change sr_inflateQuest.psc:2449 to: ModEvent.PushFloat(SLIF_event, value - 1) Compile the script after making the change and test in-game to make sure you get expected results. Keep in mind that you need to wait for FHU to push another update to SLIF before it updates. If that does not fix it then I'd start adding Debug.Notification calls to figure out what kind of values it is pushing to SLIF. Its going to be a lot faster than trying to deciper this mod. 2
