Uno Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Hello everyone. Well I've downloaded the Xinavro's "Darksouls armor conversion pack", at first I thought everything was working ok but soon I discovered that some of the amrors didn't show correctly at the forge. The problem isn't that the whole set is wrong, in fact in nifskope everything shows fine yet in the forge menu there are missing parts, example, the Ornstein armor lacks the proper cuirass and only show me a regular Dwarven armor and so on... I've tried Changing the load order, uncompressing the bsa file, making a patch with Wrye Bash (?) but nothing works. People I'm missing at this, I don't mind a correct answer form you, but maybe you had a similar problem before and would help me at this. Thank you all. My load order is attached at the end of the post. Yes I have a legal game copy, yes I installed manually, no I don't use Boss it's a (kinda) useless tool if you know what you're doing.
Mud Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Perhaps those items simply don't have a custom world model designated and the makers of the items just assigned things like dwarven armor as stand-ins?
Ark of Truth Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Perhaps those items simply don't have a custom world model designated and the makers of the items just assigned things like dwarven armor as stand-ins?This Its common practice for new modders to do this. Its just because he has not put in a world model mesh, its not broken but working as intended
Uno Posted October 1, 2013 Author Posted October 1, 2013 Nope, everything must be showing up with their respective meshes and stuff...but nor the armor models at the forge nor the armors forged and worn shows up correctly. That's my problem...I want to know if assigning new ID's ( crazy ideas, I know) to the armors could (maybe) fix it? or maybe repackaging everything onto a new esp, dunno...
Mud Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 So you're saying both the inventory model and the actual equipped model are wrong? Have you cracked open the ESPs in the CK to check if the items have the proper models assigned?
Uno Posted October 3, 2013 Author Posted October 3, 2013 Yup, that's it. I've contacted the Xinavro and now all It's solved, the armors was not intended to use on female characters <.<
