First time using NSFW mods on skyrim pc and im stuck

I'm extremely new to the whole modding scene and ive been having some major issues with getting sexlab romance se to work. the mod says its loaded and when i go to use a dialogue option to start an animation nothing happens and the dialogue option disappears. ive tried looking at older posts but nothing seems to help. I would greatly appreciate some help.

 

more info im using vortex and i have no mods clashing or any issues as far as im aware the mod simply wont play animations.

Was FNIS executed at all before starting the game - i.e. started via Vortex?

(because only then does the game have the animations in a usable form).

No to all of these. Im not entirely sure what im looking for either so even if i did run/use MCM and run fnis i dont think id know if it was broken or working
