Is anyone looking for a quest mod project, but doesn't have any ideas?

Hello Modders,

 

 

I have an idea for a quest mod involving Publick Occurrences...

 

The premise is that due to Piper being away from Diamond City and roaming the Commonwealth with the Sole Survivor, the newspaper's sales have slumped. Piper not being around to write for the paper, has made Nat desperate. She isn't going to be able to feed herself if there is no new material being printed. It has gotten so bad, she even tried to make her own articles in Piper's absence. A hunger-driven Nat shows up in Sanctuary to confront Piper, blaming her for abandoning the paper and her younger sister.

 

Stricken with guilt, Piper apologizes for her carelessness and promises to make amends. Piper asks the Sole Survivor to return with her and Nat back to Diamond City to come up with a plan to resolve the problem. After a few days, Piper and the Sole Survivor come up with the idea of making special edition magazine issues called Private Occurrences [An adult magazine.]. Nat is initially against the idea, but with prostitutes arriving in Diamond City [HotC, Fusion City], it isn't a hard sell to get Nat to change her mind.

[This references their accomplishments depending on where the player is at in the game. And, it would be cool to be able to actually flip through the magazine for the player, But, shouldn't be considered a requirement for the mod. A magazine cover would be good enough. This should be compatible with all AAF posing and sex scene mods to allow for a variety of photos.] Piper takes photos of the Sole Survivor with Nat helping with lighting. Then, Nat takes photos of Piper with the Sole Survivor helping Nat. Piper and the Sole Survivor end the session, posing together. Even with a much higher cost for the initial sale of Private Occurrences magazine, all copies are sold out. The magazine is a hit!

 

[Since Nat is getting older, she finds herself getting aroused during the photoshoot. After the magazine sales, she comments on how beautiful they both looked more than a couple of times, vaguely insinuating her arousal. This could be an opportunity on the player's part for a corruption side story. Whether anything is done with that is up to the modder.] Counting all the money from the magazine sales, Nat is now totally on board with continuing the magazine and will enthusiastically assist with future photoshoots in Diamond City. But the trio realizes that the magazine won't survive without new material. This gives the three of them the idea of recruiting new models and choosing different locations throughout the Commonwealth. This makes it an ongoing quest. [Nat may accompany Piper if asked whether she wants to help, outside of Diamond City if the quest is active.] Companions are most likely to agree to such a proposal, followers are likely depending on the happiness of the settlement they are from, and NPCs and least likely unless the Sole Survivor succeeds in a charisma check. All models require payment for appearing in the magazine or else they will refuse.

 

[During the photoshoot, the session should be undisturbed by any encounter. Entering an area with the potential for attack should be suspended if the quest is active. Posing with any creature should require the following perks as appropriate: Animal Friend, Wasteland Whisperer, or Local Leader (in the case of super mutants - they will require payment also). The photoshoot should allow the player to take a picture from any angle using fly cam mode. If this cannot be done automatically, the player could open the console to toggle fly cam mode. The camera should be able to zoom in or out. A button appears on the screen outside of the camera view that says, "Shoot", allowing the camera to take the photo. Finishing the session, the player should be able to choose which photo will be on the cover before any sale. This could be done by having the photo behind any magazine graphics and the player simply scrolls through potential magazines before choosing which to publish. Additionally, players could be able to write any bio about a model, any location, and scene descriptions for the photos... for immersion purposes.]

 

I am not a modder, so give this idea to any talented modder that wants to take on this project. All I ask is that I am credited for the idea it if is developed.

So sorry - the few mod authors who have the skills to write quest mods certainly don't have one thing -> no ideas for such a mod.

Nice that you shared your hot fantasies with us - but what you wrote there - is not even a rudimentary idea for a questline

?
