Player Character Taking No Physical Damage - Need help pls

My character takes no physical damage from most all enemies Ex: guards, thalmor soldiers, villagers, etc. However my character takes damage from bandits, all creatures (sprigans, dragons, draugr, wolves, bears, etc), all spells, fall damage, and can still die. I don't have god mode (TGM) active.

This issue seems to have randomly popped up on my character, and reloading a save of the same character that doesn't have the issue (from beginning of playthrough) doesn't have the issue, but after playing that save for a while it has the same no physical damage bug pop up. The only fix I've found is using the console command RecycleActor on player, but it resets all spell effects and upon reloading the same issue is back.

 

I've tried searching online for the same issue and found a few results of people with similar issues, but no solution. Really don't want to have to delete everything and have to restart my character, so anyone who can help it would be much appreciated.

Defeat Baka Edition can bug out in a similar way, there's a debug option in there somewhere to reset things to fix it.

Hmm, I suspected it might have something to do with Defeat though trying to clean and reinstall it, and even trying to debug SexLab doesn't seem to work so not sure. Though interestingly it seems that transforming into a vampire lord and back seems to fix it, at least temporarily and I'm guessing werewolf too since it changes race when it does. So as annoying as this bug is it does seem there is a safe workaround, though annoying if I don't want all my characters to be vampires or werewolves. Still would like to try and get to the bottom of this bug if possible.

If it is from Defeat which I'm still not sure it is, it's to do with factions. Defeat adds you to certain factions temporarily so you don't get attacked or killed, but with Skyrim being Skyrim it can bug out and leave them on after the defeat.

 

There's a console command to remove you from all factions you can use to check if it's faction related, it's "player.removeallfactions"

 

Obviously save before doing this as it'll break a lot of things.

 

Also is there really no option via hotkey to reset things in Defeat? Just checked and that's how it's done with Baka Edition.

So the vampire/werewolf method worked on another character that somehow ended up with the same issue. Though the main character suffering from this issue turning into werewolf and vampire lord forms didn't work, so not sure why that works on one but not another.

 

Tried using the console command player.removeallfactions, but for some reason it refuses to work and simply says it couldn't parse the line. Didn't misspell the command either, so that's not gonna help much. Also the defeat menu in MCM has clean and reconfigure, and found a hotkey menu but it doesn't seem to do anything other than what's already in the MCM.

Not sure if any of this helps. Thinking of just uninstalling all sexlab mods at this point and restarting character.

So small update but it turns out this wasn't actually related to Defeat or Sexlab at all. Seems to have been caused by an older version of the mod There is No Umbra - Chapter III.
