Most likely an outdated mod editing the traits part in CAS. One of the most common ones is "More traits in CAS", but it could be any other that is editing it. So if you have one of those mods make sure it is updated to your game version, and try again. If that does not fix the issue please explain a bit more what kind of "glitch" you see in your game or post a screenshot.
