Outfit Studio Conversions Not Displaying In-Game

So I recently downloaded Warmaiden’s Armor because skintight chainmail. The mod author built the outfits for UNP and I use CBBE, so I went to Outfit Studio to make the conversions. I did all the steps I’ve done hundreds of times before: New Project->convert UNP high to CBBE reference->load the “_1” mesh->conform sliders->move slider, set base shape->load CBBE reference->conform sliders, copy bone weights->save project w/o reference-build in Bodyslide. Like I’ve done countless times before.

I go into my Skyrim AE install, equip the banded iron armor from the mod, open racemenu to tweak the CBBE sliders. Everything works to perfection. I quit and convert a few more armors from the mod. I go back into Skyrim and try them on, open racemenu. None of the other armors respond to CBBE slider inputs.

I’m not sure what I’m missing. I’ve never had a mod before where conversion works for one armor, but not for the others from the mod.

The racemenu sliders need the .tri files for each armor to work. See if you have the .tri files, they will be in the same place as the armor .nif. If you don't have them, you need to check the little box in the lower left of bodyslide that says "build morphs". This will generate the needed .tri files when you build the meshes in bodyslide.

If that's the one detail I'm missing, that would be the shit. I'll have a look.

UPDATE:

I figured it out! For whatever reason, the other shapes in the mod's armor meshes won't "keep" the slider data you copy to them in Outfit Studio when you try the armor on in-game. For whatever reason, you need to keep a reference body in the outfit's mesh for the slider data to be functional in the in-game racemenu.
