NPC reiterating: "I am somewhat busy over here". What can be done to break the cycle.

This is when NPCs, including followers, run off and start beating some poor restrained slave or anyone in stocks/chains etc. for that matter. It might be immersive but it is a right PITA when you are trying to take the NPC somewhere or even just talk to them. I think that Interactive BDSM is responsible but nothing I have MCM altered seems to work as every attempted interaction has the above reply while none of the two possible answering replies by the PC have any effect.

Anyone have a solution?

 

Addendum: In the end the ONLY thing that worked was to RHS unclick the mod, run, save, quit and then reclick RHS and reload.

At least I did not have to remove the mod entirely, but I wish that there was an easier way.
