strip club ownership removed from phone but not lot ?

when there is an update and the game unchecks the mods box in settings, after I put mods back on and load the game, the ownership of my strip club is removed from the phone and the only option left is the "buy strip club" option, but in manage worlds the lot itself still looks like it's owned by my sim. when I try to repurchase the lot it doesn't let me because it's already owned by my sim. any thoughts on how to fix this?
