Estrus not working and no idea where to go to ask

If you're using Windows 10, you may have to disable real-time virus protection for GenerateFNISForUsers.exe to work.
 

Go to:
Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Security -> Virus and Threat Protection
This opens the Windows Security app. Then, under "Virus & threat protection settings", click on "Manage settings." From there, disable real-time protection and run FNIS. You can re-enable it after you close FNIS.

Before I knew about this, I was completely unable to get FNIS to work on Windows 10. Hope this helps!
