Animation keeps being blacklisted and un-blacklisted everytime i left click

For some reason every time I left click when I do something like shoot my gun the game is blacklisting animation 1202. This doesn't happen when I'm in a menu like when equipping a gun or looting an enemy. I have tried restarting and I'm about to try reloading an older save but I don't want to lose all of the progress I've made since the bug popped up and I'm hoping somebody has a answer.

 

Edit - Reverting to an older save has fixed the problem but I lost about 2 hours of progress so I'm still open for suggestions on how to fix this problem both for now and potentially in the future.
