Empty Left Hand for Redguards? Edit: Solved!

Hey folks! I haven't been able to find a solution to this, so I'm hoping for some suggestions.

 

In my game, Redguards, both male and female, aren't showing most items equipped in their left hand. Shields are fine, but anything like a weapon or torch doesn't show. They'll stick their arm out as if carrying a torch, but nothing is showing. It won't look like they have a weapon in their left hand, but they'll still use the off-hand weapon animation. Every other race is fine, it seems. It's just the Redguards.

 

Has anyone heard of a problem like this? Any ideas on how to fix it?

 

EDIT: NvM, I think I've finally found the problem. Apparently, the Left Hand Object was switched from 'Shield' to 'None' somehow in a previous edit.
