Talos shout reduced to negative wait time.

I'm not sure where to find what mod is doing it in xEdit.  I though it was Pilgrim but can find anything that looks like it might control that.  Does anyone know?

Talos shout sounds like it's from a mod/cc?

Anyhow, right now I'd go by the assumption that recharge times are defined in the SHOU records, ie.:

 [00] Skyrim.esm (7CAB85A9) \ Shout \ 00013E07 <UnrelentingForceShout>

Recovery time 15

Recovery time 20

Recovery time 45

You can also modify recovery times with other things, but these affect all player shouts:

 [00] Skyrim.esm (7CAB85A9) \ Actor Value Information \ 000005FD <AVShoutRecoveryMult>

The talos amulet for instance uses this AV.

Thanks Traison, I appreciate it.  I'll check out tonight.

I was tired so my explanation was lacking.  Pilgrim's Talos blessing (via the Prayer lesser power) seemed to give all shouts a negative time meaning I could span shouts with no time limit.  When the blessing was off, there was no problem.  I'm sure I cheesed the game somehow using Vokriinator Black and Pilgrim/Stormcown.  If I can't figure it out in short order, I'll just go back to Wintersun and Thunderchild, which I know won't create issue for my LO.

Most likely the combination of all things affecting the shoutrecoverymult AV is strong enough to reduce it to 0 or below 0. You could nerf the effects perhaps. Instead of praying giving a buff of 100% maybe it should be 50%-70%, make room for a talos amulet and whatever else you may have.

I've had this happen before.  I had enchanted an additional amulet with a 20% cooldown and when combined with the Talos amulet I got negative times.  Also, got instant cooldown. It reminds me of overloading an integer and getting negative results. So, I suspect that a formula overloaded the integer.  If you are using additional magical devices with a cooldown; remove them from the PC.  If you have a mod that changes the cool down, that could cause the problem. Otherwise, I don't know.

I wound up replacing Pilgrim with Wintersun.  That fixed the issue.  Pilgrim had some zany equation in its calcuations and I didn't want to be bothered hunting it down.
