Bl1nd_Eye Posted April 11, 2024 Posted April 11, 2024 Guess this'll give me a reason to actually look at billboards.
Darkwolves602 Posted July 28, 2024 Posted July 28, 2024 Works just as intended. Also, some notes for anyone interested in doing some personalised customisation (Just thought I'd throw this in after spending some time mixing and matching multiple texture mods for personal use. All credit to the original Mod Creators for any content used): -If you Manually download the Mod and place it in the Fallout 4 Data folder (Open up your FO4 game folder and follow the folders down) you can mix and match this and other mods (Or just select specific images you want). No need to install/run via Mod Manager and no ESP files required. -Any mods you have in your Mod Manager which edit the same files added to the Data folder, the Mod files take precedence. -If you want to change all the Billboards but don't like some specific images used (Or want to see some more often), just change the filename of the one you prefer with the one to replace and place in the data folder. -Once you know the filename of the texture file to be replaced, you can use any image of the correct size and format (.DDS) to replace it. -You can find the name of other texture files to replace e.g. Paintings, (Or open up Mods using BA2 files) using a BA2 extractor. You can find the extractor and usage instructions on Nexusmods (Very simple, copy BA2 file to folder and run the extractor). Note: Fallout 3/NV use a different Extractor. -You can create your own image or edit existing ones by converting the .DDS files using an online converter (Find via Google) to an image file, edit in an image editor (Paint is sufficient) and then reconvert back to .DDS. -Make sure the dimensions of the texture file are correct (Same scale as similar ones). If you get crashes specifically entering an area which contains a texture file you just edited, that may be why. All this can also be used for similar games (Fallout 3 and New Vegas). Some details may vary.
