Body Selector & Animations

Hello fellow Sims!

 

I have a few questions and an issue that I would like to address and hopefully get some help on.

 

I'll start with the issue, I've used WW many times before and have downloaded several different CC and Animations for it.

 

This time around, when I try to download CC regarding body parts... (Mostly genitalia though I think now I'd prefer not only redefined genitalia but also body hair and more for realism) Point still stands though, I can never seen to get it to work properly. None of the downloaded content shows up in the Body Selector.

 

I have tried downloading a few different types of CC regarding the Body Selector. (Better Bodies, I think one was called Eclipse, etc.) None of them have showed up within the Body Selector.

 

Currently, I have cleared out my Mods folder and put in the WW Mod Folder as well as the WW Inappropriate Unlock just to keep WW the same as I am used to.

 

If anyone could tell me why my CC won't show up in the Body Selector, that would be amazing!

 

Now, for my question!

 

As I scrolled through some forums regarding which are the best body CC to use for WW as well as animations, I realized that most posts are quite outdated yet still very valid. (Many of the animations and CC mentioned are still working beautifully today.)

 

Yet, I was wondering if anyone has any new suggestions. I think now that I've emptied out my Mod Folder and am doing some new research, I will probably go with Luumia as that creator has several different types of CC. (Body hair for males, Body Meshes for both males and females, etc.)

 

I just redid the folder now and this is what I have added:
Better Body CC Folder

Luumia Body Hair Plus V5

Cherry Pie Cum Mesh & Control Rig

Desiree Animations

Khlas Animations

Mike24 Animations

Amra72 Animations

Better Body from Hiroki is outdated from what I know. Or just not working well. Also it's default replacement of Maxis body  so it won't 'show up' in Body Selector.

 

Luumia body hair is a tattoo version or made to be used as you would pick body hair in CAS from Maxis defaults.

 

Noir and Wild Guy have body hair working with WW body hair system.

 

In terms of body selector:

Did you try downloading body parts linked on WW site in optional download on the bottom here? I use those from Simdulgence, Noir, Allure, some of SM Sims, etc.

I actually used to use Simdulgence, I think I used RealGens but I just wanted to try something different but I also didn't know it was outdated.

 

As for the body hair, thank you for letting me know! That's simple enough to just go to a mirror and change sim or Shift+Left click to edit in CAS!

 

I did go to the site for animations, I just find it so overwhelming since there are so many and no previews on the site itself. (Having to click on each one to get a feel for what it is, etc.)

 

I definitely will revisit it but now that I am thinking about it, I will probably just get simdulgence as the replacement for Better Bodies isn't working.

If you want something that is constantly updated Simdulgence moved to SimpleGens. It's on his patreon, but after early access he links it on his tumblr too: https://simfileshare.net/folder/147692/

 

Simdulgence also has default replacements included in 'standard' EA body shapes for breasts, penis and vaginas so you can use them too, if you wish. It's in the Simple Body Parts family.

 

With body hair you need to always read if it's for CAS or works with WW, cause it's 2 different systems.

 

As for animations I highly recomend at least to download the HONORARY ANIMATORS + A.Trois, Nevely42 and YR_SA ones.

And with the rest they generally include previews of some animations when you click 'view file' so it's easy to judge if you might like it or not.
