Replacing a devious device mesh

I've stumbled across a clothing piece that looks just like the bell collarfrom DDE, but better and I want to replace the existing one in DDE with the new one. Problem is, it's an SMP piece and thus requires it's XML file and it also consists of two .nif files (_0 and _1). While XML problem looks solvable, I'm really unsure about the two .nif files.

 

So, how do I do it properly?

I would edit the ARMA record in DDE to point to the new mesh (*_1.nif). Option 2 would be to copy either mesh (the one that fits best) and replace the existing DDE mesh. If you want to move the xml as well, you'll have to edit the path in the nif.

That didn't do anyting, but straight up replacing and editing path for the xml did the trick, thanks.
