coldheartzero Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Way off topic even for off topic. I rarely watch any western tv or movies. Very rarely, when I watch a movie or tv I want to escape from real world BS and lies but so much western entertainment is pushing one agenda or another and rarely ever gets the facts straight. So with that being said I've been watching a lot of Korean and Japanese tv lately, not anime but I do watch my fair share of that as well. Anyway, the point of this post is I just finished a "K-drama" called "Grid". Now don't get me wrong the show is really good and I was on the edge of my seat for 85% of the show,,, but at the same time I'm like,, WTF is goin' on. I've never been into "who dunnits", or mysteries or shit like that because unless the plot is derivative and there's really not enough info/plot only tells you enough when it's convenient for the MC to figure it out I can usually figure it out before the opening credits have finished. (only a slight exaggeration, I was an amazing P.I. in my much younger days, scary good and this was before internet) But I can't figure this show out for the life of me. I think my biggest problem with it is I'm a super nerd and I just can't get my head past the sheer amount of paradox's in the show. So many the world should explode. Anyway, if you get a chance give Grid a watch,,, then come back an explain it to me...... All the characters are for the most part believable, performances are great all around. The MC is a little "stiff" but I think thats the way he was intended and not the actor's lacking.
