Debasing Grounds is a web browser-based text RPG and social simulator set in a post-apocalyptic world. The game is compatible with various platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android.

 

The game is a mix of a role-playing game and a social simulation, with a world where the player can move up in the city's social order using their skills, money, connections, and influence within the various factions, while avoiding being brought down by the enemies they make along the way. I want the process of falling and losing to be as exciting as the chance to win. The beginning is rough, and players have to be careful not to get caught and taken advantage of. There are several "soft" bad endings that careless players can end up in.

The playable character is fully customizable and can move freely around the city, with no restrictions or forced linearity.

More consequences to reputation effects:

• Police:
  • 'Status' and 'Fame' with the police affect the chance of being approached by them, as well as the outcome.
  • Characters with high 'Fame', 'Status' and 'Liked' (>10) will be let go.
  • Other characters will be approached and searched. 3 scenes: groping (generic), whipping (low 'Liked'), coerced oral (low 'Status', new scene).
  • Reactions during these scenes further affect the character's reputation with the police.
  • If 'Status' or 'Liked' reaches -100, the character will be taken to jail.
  • It's now possible to successfully resist arrest by passing a high Fighting skill check.
  • The police will no longer ask for your identity if you're arrested a second time.
• Town:
  • 'Status' and 'Fame' within the town faction affect the chance of being approached by mobs.

  • Four new non-consensual public sex scenes triggered when NPCs refuse 1on1 advances and do not successfully threaten, fight, or run away.
  • New scenes: Street Public Sex, Nightclub Forced Public Orgasm, Street Bondage, Nightclub Bondage
  • Players will stay tied up after public bondage scenes
  • Players can now fight to escape their bondage when they're tied up with a rope without having to go home.
  • Players can now remove their character's blindfolds and gags from their inventory without having to go home, as long as they're not tied up.
  • The 'Stoic' and 'Defiant' options show their success chance and related skills.
• Other:
  • Large hooks are now sold at the hardware store and pawnshop.
  • Removed status alerts from menus so they don't block information.
  • Players can now leave silver at home and in various loot boxes.

Version  v0.32 "Gym, Prostitution and Public Punishment" Update:

Gym content block:

• Players can now get a one-time free 24-hour gym pass (replaces pretending to be a plumber).
• Players can now purchase 24 hour and 30 day gym passes.
• Players can now train without Holger's help if they have their own gym pass.
• Players who have agreed to train with Holger will lose their free pass if they refuse his "help" when he's around.
• The chance that Holger will respect players during training is now based on a training skill check instead of a hard limit.
• Training now also increases fighting.
• Training with Holger increases lifting and fighting significantly more than when players train on their own.
• Players can now leave the after scenes with Holger if they pass a Gym Status skill check.
• Players can now fight or beg to avoid punishment when defying Holger.
• Players can now act eager/submissive/stoic/defiant to the Gym's punishments, and have their resistance broken if they fail a Lust/Pain... check.

Harrow's Manor:

• Olena Harrow can now be selected as male at startup (becomes Olen Harrow)

• New party event at Olen/a Manor with gameplay that allows for four different outcomes

Debasing Grounds v0.36: "Gender Bending, Cross-Dressing and Substances":
 

Gender Bending and Crossdressing:

• Players can take substances to change their base femininity/masculinity.
• Taking 'hormone cocktail' items now has an effect on stats: A1 increases base maleness, B1 increases base femaleness, D4 increases lust.
• When the gender bending toggle is active, players can switch from male/girl/female/boy after reaching a base masculinity/femininity threshold.
• When the gender-bending toggle is active, NPCs can also gender-bend to d-girl/cunt-boy once the NPC's masculinity/femininity reaches a threshold.
• When the gender-bending toggle is active, hermaphrodites can appear male or female. The toggle between the two is set to 0 masculinity/femininity.
• Hermaphrodites will be referred to as male or female depending on their base masculinity/femininity (previously the default was female).
• New cross-dressing toggle. When enabled, the PC will be perceived as male/female based on its overall femininity/masculinity, including clothing items. 
• Plain jeans, sweatpants, and dress pants now give items maleness.
• New items: low-rise jeans, high-waisted jeans, dress pants, leggins (female), hoodies (male).

- Sagara wants to meet an outsider. There is a new quest where players can convince Elektra to meet her
- Andrew wants to meet porn actress Ruby in person. There is a new quest where players can convince her to go on a date with Andrew
- Rebecca wants to experience an all-night gangbang with a large number of men in a safe environment. There is a new quest where players can organize this with Adil if they work for him or Sikke, or if they pass a trust check.
- Adil wants to have a gangbang with Sikke and his men. Players can convince her by passing a hard Dominance check or by taking her to watch their own gangbang. Afterwards, she will be curious to experience it herself.

All-Night Gangbangs:

 

- Adil hosts gangbangs at his place
- Players can learn about Adil's gangbangs by asking Adil about his goals, completing Holger's pet tasks, or going to his place with anyone in Adil's crew
- After learning about the gangbangs, players can talk to Adil to arrange them for NPCs or themselves
- There is now a chance that the thugs street encounter will continue with a gangbang
- Adil will also agree to have a gangbang with players who pass a seduction check or who bring Sikke to watch as part of his goal quest
- Players brought by NPCs can try to run away or fight their way out. If they fail, the gangbang becomes non-consensual
- Gangbangs start between 4 and 9 PM and last until 6 AM
- The leader of the gangbang is Adil when players ask him for one, Sikke if she goes to watch, or whichever NPC takes the player home.
- There are four different positions for gangbangs: lying on the back, on all fours, kneeling, and prone.
- After all the crew members reach their climax, they take a short break and adopt a new position.
- As the gangbang progresses, it becomes rougher, and Adil puts the player in increasingly restrictive bondage
- Players can request changes to the roughness level and positions during their own gangbangs, but doing so results in a slight trust drop for the leader, who prefers to be in charge
- At trust level 0, the gangbang continues, but it becomes non-consensual
- Gangbang scenes can be skipped forward, which still results in increases in gangbangs and rough sex fetishes
- If the gangbang turns non-consensual, resisting or making demands will make it rougher, and the player will be gagged
- Players can stop consensual gangbangs at any time, but there will be a trust drop. Players can try to fight during non-consensual gangbangs
- After non-consensual gangbangs, players are left naked and still in bondage in the street
- After they have blown Adil at the gym three times, Holger will ask players working under him to become the center of a gangbang for Adil

 

NPC Gangbangs:

 

- Adil will agree to a gangbang with other NPCs if the player works for him or Sikke. He will also agree if the player passes a Social/Trust check, or if the NPC is Sikke.
- Once Adil is convinced, players can convince other NPCs to be the center of a gangbang. NPCs must be taken there between 4 and 9 PM
- NPCs with a gangbang fetish of 50 or more (like Rebecca) always agree
- Those with a gangbang fetish of 10 or higher agree with a dominance check
- A harder dominance check is necessary for other NPCs
- Sending Rebecca fulfills her "goal" quest
- Sending Sikke fulfills Adil's "goal" quest
- Players can be in charge of the gangbangs they initiate, controlling the positions, roughness, and bondage. Alternatively, players can just watch and let the NPCs take charge.
- Players can participate in gangbangs centered around the NPCs they brought by having sex with the NPCs, using a strap-on, or performing other dominant actions.
- Players can also tie up, gag, and blindfold NPCs during gangbangs.
- Same positions as for player centered gangbangs
- The NPCs trust varies depending on the level on enjoyment. It falls if players go too rough for their liking (rough sex fetish) or put them in bondage without them having it as a fetish yet, and increases if it matches their fetishes
- Players can increase the NPC's rough sex and bondage fetishes if the NPC has an orgasm through rough sex or while in bondage
- Players can give the NPCs a break to reduce their exhaustion
- NPC gangbang scenes can be skipped, which still results in increases to the rough sex and bondage fetishes
- After the gangbang, players can either take care of the NPC, which increases trust, or rough them up further, which increases dominance at the expense of trust. Alternatively, players can do a mix of both

Sex Slave Gameplay:

- Roaming 'love items' are occasionally sent outside the brothel, to service Administration workers and locations and be used by citizens
- New 'roaming love-item' slave start, places players in Jania's brothel and with 'roaming love-item' status
- When players start out as auctioned sex slaves or voluntarily work for Jania, she sends them outside as "love items" from Trust 50.
- Roaming love items are given an identifying "uniform" that keeps them in bondage
- New quest sends love-item players as sexual relief for workers at the wall (gangbang, spitroast)
- New quest sends love-item players to pleasure guards at the Red Gate: three scenes
- New quest sends love-item players the police station to service the officers: three scenes
- New quest sends love-item players the bar to be used by the customers (gangbang)
- Love items can be used by any citizen and have a high chance of being approached
- Love items need to to return to the brothel every night and their whole inventory is confiscated, including any sliver they might have collected
- Players can try to escape or find refuge during these tours
- Most citizens will refuse removing bondage for love-items, but some items might be removed or lost during sex scenes
- Failing to return by morning will result in a punishment from Jania and a decrease in trust. Players who do not return within a week will be marked as fugitives.
- Players don't become fugitives or have their inventory cleared when they start as voluntary "workers" but the other mechanics still take place.
- Returning without completing the quest will cause Jania to lose trust and will result in a punishment.
- New 'Love item' random event while walking around the city. Players can have sex with the 'love-item' NPCs
- If sold to the brothel, Ina will show up as a roaming love item
- Expanded all the existing customer sex scenes: bondage anal/strap-on, free vaginal and anal, whipping, pissing, obese customer, triple penetration, orgasm sequences, Jania's whipping, Jania strap-on fuck

- Bati and Jania (Jan if male) are now rivals and Bati's starting status is higher than Jania's
- New quest while serving Jania (as a 'love-item' or working in the brothel) at trust > 90 to help Jania get back to Bati by helping the deviants hit the nightclub
- If players accept, they are sent to the nightclub in a cage to dance on a blackout night, when the nightclub is using a generator
- If pressed, Jania will reveal her past after offering the quest
- Bati will also reveal Jania's part of Jania's past when she receives the player
- Bati will punish players with electric shocks if they dance poorly or if they dance well enough to take the attention away from her
- In order to complete the quest, players must trigger Bati's electrical punishment after the Deviants have placed the device
- Doing this causes the generator to burst, lights go off and the deviants assault the nightclub
- Helping Jania and the Deviants results in a significant increase in trust from Jania, Elektra, Aria, and Rikka, as well as a boost in reputation with the Thulle Deviants. However, Bati's reputation drops significantly. After that, Bati hides out at her place, the nightclub's VIP area remains closed, and the abandoned house club opens at 9 PM instead of midnight
- Failing to help Jania will result in a significant drop in trust and negative reputation effects with the Deviants
- Completing the quest allows players to join the Thulle Deviants without retreiving Elekra razors or taking Nerra's picture
- Jania's new goal quest helps her overcome her biggest fear
- Bati's new goal quest involves making Jania trumatically relive her biggest fear
- Players can act reassuring, dominant or abandon her in the last moment
- Helping Jania will increase her trust and potentially her submission, depending on the player's actions
- Betraying Jania for Bati, drastically decreases submission to Jania, Jania's trust and status, while increasing Bati's trust and status. Jania also becomes anxious personality-wise
- If the players betray Jania, she will fail her first quest and hide from people, making it impossible to meet her at the nightclub
- Jania now strips in some of the brothel scenes and her paper-doll shows her strap-on
- Expanded Jania's edging scene, which now has interactive steps. Players can beg Jania for release, which increases submission, or remain quiet (temperance check), which increases temperance. Orgasming or failing the Temperance check to remain quiet increases the player's edging fetish. This continues for several iterations, with different descriptions
- Jania's strap-on breath play scene now takes several steps, requiring passing a Control check
