Does the High School Years pack change teens in any way?

I own a version of the Sims that's before the High School Years pack. If I update the Sims to the newest version and get the High School Years pack, will teens change? Do they get shorter or anything like that? I'm hesitant to update/get the new pack because I'm worried the all the animations will get messed up if the teens physically change a lot.

No, HSY does not change teens height and their appeariance whatsoever. The pack just adds new aspirations, clothes, hair growth and acne and stuff.

And annoying thing with WW that requires to give teens post-puberty trait for them to have sex with each other and/or YA-A-E.

You'll need WW Inappropriate Unlock for HSY to make your teens do stuff they did pre-HSY.

I also personally use this little mod to automatically add the trait to all teens after set number of days:
